The WorkFirst Grant (financial resource) is designed to be linked to a specific career ladder and to lead to better skills and higher wages.WorkFirst supports various training programs by paying for tuition, books, and tuition fees. (If eligible, you may qualify for college classes to earn a certificate. WorkFirst pays for tuition, books, and fees for courses.) To qualify, you must be receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
