Academic Information and Requirements – Attendance Standard

It is the responsibility of students to drop classes they stop attending (not that of instructors). Drop forms are available in the Enrollment Services offices and online.

Institution Initiated Drops

At the discretion of the instructor, students who do not attend at least 60 percent of class meeting time in the first week may be dropped from classes and, if this is done, they will be eligible for a 100 percent refund. Those who have not attended at least 60 percent of the class meeting time by the end of the second week may be dropped by the instructor; if this is done, they will be eligible for a 50 percent refund.
