Established in 1967, Edmonds College serves approximately 14,000 students annually, including approximately 900 international students from about 60 countries. The college currently offers four Bachelor of Applied Science degrees (with more coming soon), more than 60 associate degrees, and over 100 professional certificates. The college offers robust athletics programs for men and women, including baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer, and cross country. The college operates two on-campus residence halls that house approximately 400 students. In addition, the college has a wide range of comprehensive offerings: college credit in high school; basic education skills to receive a high school diploma/GED or to prepare for college; short-term, non-credit training; continuing education; online degrees and certificates; and programs that are offered during the day, at night, and on weekends. Support services include childcare, a campus food pantry, 211 navigator, and mental health resources.

Edmonds College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities and governed by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.

Points of Interest

STEM and Nursing Building

In 2020, Edmonds College opened Hazel Miller Hall, a 70,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and nursing.

Bachelor of Applied Science Degrees

Edmonds College now offers Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degrees. Compared to other four-year degrees, BAS degrees are more career-focused, have more hands-on training, build more on work experience, and are more affordable. Our BAS programs are also designed to be convenient. Classes are held in a hybrid online/in-person format and often meet in the evenings and on weekends.

National Leader in Cyber Defense Education

Edmonds College has been designated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Education by the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security. The college offers a certificate in cybersecurity and an Associate of Technical Arts degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics that articulates to a bachelor’s degree program in Information Systems Security from Western Washington University.
