HORT 266 - History of Garden Design
3.0 Credits An overview of cultural expressions on the land from ancient to modern times. Emphasis mainly on Western cultures but also on Japanese and Chinese influences. The modern American garden and landscape will be studied in context to its origins and potentials. S/U grade option.
Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
