5.0 Credits An introduction to the elements and vocabulary of music: an overview of the stylistic periods of western civilization from the Baroque period to the 21st century through the use of text, a variety of musical examples and live performances (was MUSIC 120).
Course Objectives Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of musical concepts and terminology of Western classical music. [COMMUNICATE]
