MUSC 189 - Concert Band I

Rehearsal and performance of instrumental music of a variety of eras and styles; study of instrumental technique and musicianship skills. Quarterly concerts are required.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate good tone production through proper air support and technique. [REASON]
- Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between printed music and the expressive intent of the music through performance. [COMMUNICATE]
- Sight-read instrumental music. [REASON]
