Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze the nature of risk and risk factors typical to meetings and events.
- Identify risk factors in an event proposal.
- Identify and discuss key laws and regulations that impact events.
- Identify the types of insurance appropriate for particular events.
- Describe and analyze key components of typical event contracts.
- Conduct standard and customary ethical, legal, risk management, safety, and security analysis for an event.
