Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Define the various types of advocacy, including agency, legislative, legal, community, and personal.
- Analyze the ethical principles involved in advocacy.
- Describe ways to become involved in advocacy efforts at the local, state, and national levels.
- Demonstrate communication skills, strategies, and attitudes necessary in advocating for a variety of groups and issues.
