Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Describe established regulations and requirements of agencies and regulating organizations for the music and entertainment industry.
Analyze the planning and management issues associated with technical equipment, production elements, and special effects included in an event.
Identify and describe copyright and trademark protection requirements associated with media-oriented event planning.
Identify and describe a variety of insurance coverages that are appropriate for a media event.
Identify employment opportunities in the event planning entertainment and production fields.
