CMST 215 - Online Interpersonal Communications:CD
5.0 Credits Principles of interpersonal online communication. Previous experience with online courses recommended. Prerequisite Placement in ENGL& 101. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Examine and articulate the differences between face-to-face and computer-mediated interpersonal interactions using discipline-specific knowledge, such as the Communication Process Model elements.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the influence of computer-mediation on communication interactions.
- Describe the influence of cultural differences (ethnicity and gender, for example) in online interpersonal communication interactions.
