EAP 108 - Verbs for College Success

A six-week class for nonnative Enlgish speakers who need to improve their use of verbs in writing in order to succeed in college-level writing.
Prerequisite EAP 100.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate understanding of verbs in relation to the function of different parts of speech in English.
Reduce verb form errors in college-level writing.
Utilize a wider verb vocabulary to strengthen their writing.
Analyzing verbs used in assessment directions in order to respond accurately.
