HORT 262 - Landscape Design I
6.0 Credits This class is for the professional with emphasis on the creative use of plants and garden making. Prerequisite Placement in AENGL 093 or ENGLP 093 or higher; HORT 120; and HORT 224; or instructor permission. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:- Engage in imaginative and critical inquiry to explore concepts and perspectives in order to develop landscape designs that are site and client specific.
- Locate, acquire, evaluate, and apply information in order to prepare landscape basemaps, site surveys, and site analysis.
- Use appropriate tools, techniques, and technology to communicate effectively with clients and professionals in the landscape industry.
