GED 8 - Spanish GED



5.00 Credits
This is a structured course to help Spanish-speaking students demonstrate competencies in the basics of algebra, solving operations with rational expressions, evaluating binomials and polynomials, factoring, solving linear equations, and graphing linear equations. This course allows students to learn new problem solving skills in preparation for passing the official Spanish Mathematical Reasoning GED test. Completion of GED 4 or advisorplacement in GED 8 is recommended. Este es un curso estructurado para ayudar a los estudiantes de habla Hispana a mejorar sus habilidades en los conceptos bicos de gebra, resoluci de operaciones con expresiones racionales, evaluaci de binomios y polinomios, factorizaci, resoluci de ecuaciones lineales y representaci grica de ecuaciones lineales. Este curso permite a los estudiantes aprender habilidades para resolver problemas verbales en preparaci para aprobar el examen oficial GED de Razonamiento Matemico en Espal. Se recomienda altamente: Finalizar el curso de GED 4 con anterioridad o se puede registrar en GED 8 por colocaci directa del asesor.Prerrequisito: Se requiere asesoramiento academico antes de tomar este curso. Prerequisite: Department orientation and advising are required before taking this course.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate improvement in one or more of the following areas: basics of algebra, solve operations with rational expressions, evaluate binomials and polynomials, factors, solve linear equations, and graph linear equations.
