AHE 115 - AHE Healthcare Provider: CPR

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider training including a section on blood-borne pathogens. Leads to certification in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Class meets and exceeds all OSHA, WISHA, and L&I standards.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, mouth to mouth and bag-mask ventilation.
Demonstrate the use of automated external defibrillator.
Demonstrate the relief of foreign body airway obstruction for responsive and unresponsive victims.
