HORT 210 - Fine Gardening Practicum

Hands-on experience in the development and management of intricate gardens of herbaceous, woody, and edible plants. Class may include border and bed design, installation, renovation, and all manner of garden management activities. S/U grade option.

Describe and follow safe practices in selection, handling, transport, and cleanup of landscape tools.
Demonstrate and describe sustainable care of shrubs, sub-shrubs, herbaceous plants, and vines.
Describe and demonstrate propagation of perennials by division.
Describe and demonstrate effective team skills.
