MFG 122 - Aerospace Electric Wiring

Using Fiber Optic and coaxial cable to build wire bundles. Demonstrate the ability to readbuild instructions and installwire bundles according to drawings.
Prerequisite MFG 105, MFG 120, and MFG 159 all with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Corequisite MFG 101, MFG 102, and MFG 121.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Measure, cut, and strip wire for building wire bundles.
Identify unshielded twisted pair and fiber optic cabling parts and components and describe their functions.
Demonstrate knowledge of cable construction and bend radius.
Install wire bundles based on pressurized and unpressurized bundle locations.
