AMMET 427 - Quality and Continuous Improvement



5.0 Credits
This class covers the quality sciences. Quality standards and systems will be covered in depth as well as document control systems. Continuous improvement will be covered using practice audits and Six Sigma projects.
Prerequisite Completion of AMMET 351 with a 2.0 or greater.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Compare different document control processes.
  2. Analyze different Quality Standards, including FDA CFRs, and FAA regulations.
  3. Create, perform, and evaluate a quality audit.
  4. Create a calibration program.
  5. Create a Six Sigma process improvement project.
  6. Analyze different Quality Management Systems, including ISO9001.
  7. Apply and evaluate the Tools of Quality.
