MUSC 106 - Survey of American Popular Music

Study of popular music in the United States from minstrelsy to hip-hop. Style, musical forms, instruments, and lyrics are all discussed and analyzed. No prior knowledge of music is required (was MUSIC 105).

Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
