Private lessons in instrumental or vocal music. Open to any student at any skill level, beginning through advanced (was MUSIC 150). Instructors assigned by or approved by music faculty.
Course Objectives
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Sing or play with accurate rhythm. [COMMUNICATE]
- Read music (pitches and rhythm) at a level appropriate to development. [COMMUNICATE]
- Play or sing with accurate pitches and tone production at a level appropriate to development. [COMMUNICATE]
- Perform expressively and with attention to appropriate style. [COMMUNICATE]
