Program Description The AAS-T in Materials Science Technology is a professional technical degree with a core of general education courses commonly accepted in transfer. It is designed to prepare graduates to enter into industry or to prepare students who wish to transfer to other colleges or universities having specific bachelor’s degree programs that accept the AAS-T degree.
Students seeking to transfer to degree programs other than those specifically designed for the AAS-T should consider the Associate of Arts or the AS Track 2 - OTRE , specifically designed for transfer four-year colleges and universities.
All students who intend to transfer should meet with an adviser of the college to which they plan to transfer, and review specific admission requirements.
