Program Description International High School is a program for students educated outside the U.S. who have not yet earned a secondary school diploma or credential. These students can complete the requirements for a high school diploma that meets Washington state requirements and is accepted throughout the U.S.

Qualified International High School students can take dual-credit classes through which the student is concurrently enrolled in the International High School Completion/High School-to-University program and an Associate’s degree program.

Entry Requirements Students who are at least 16 years of age and do not have a high school diploma or secondary education credential are eligible to apply for the program. Incoming students will take an English placement test upon arrival and need to meet entry-level course placement requirements. Students who do not meet the minimum English skill level will start out in the Intensive English as a Second Language Program.

When to apply? Students may start in the program at the beginning of fall, winter, spring, or summer quarters.
