1.  Communication Studies courses are recommended because of the strong need in upper division economics courses for analytical thinking, speaking, and presentation skills.

2. Higher mathematics recommended due to the strong quantitative basis comprising economics.

3. Foreign Language Requirement Note:  Some universities require foreign language for admissions and graduation.  If you need to take foreign language, it may be beneficial to take these classes at the community college level before transferring.
