Degree Notes
Academic pathways: AAS-T programs are designed to prepare graduates for jobs requiring two years of training and for bachelor’s programs that accept AAS-T degrees. This AAS-T is designed for a direct transfer to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology and Administrative Management at Central Washington University (CWU).
Career pathways: The Office Supervision and Management Associate in Applied Science-Transfer Degree is for the person who wants to move into a supervisory, managerial, or executive assistant position. This program emphasizes business skills that include advanced office software, administration, and supervision. Employment opportunities for graduates may include administrative assistant, executive assistant, executive secretary, office manager, and administrative supervisor.

Getting Started - Placement Notes
Milestone 1: NSA (New Student Advising) *Meet with your advisor to select a program of study, obtain math and English placement, plan pre-college coursework, discuss transfer credits, and obtain a starting plan. - Placement into MATH& 107 is recommended before beginning this program, and is required before starting certain classes.
- Placement into ENGL& 101 is recommended before beginning this program, and is required in order to follow this program map sequence.
Term 2 (15 credits)
Milestone 2: Term 2 Check-In *Meet with your advisor to make sure you are making steady progress and have successfully taken or planned to take entry level classes for your program. Create a full academic plan with your advisor for your remaining requirements. Term 4 (17 credits)
Milestone 3: Degree Progress Check-in *Meet with your advisor for a progress check and to finalize remaining courses for your program. Begin discussing and planning for your post-graduation goals. Term 5 (18 credits)
Milestone 4: Graduation Application *Submit a graduation application prior to your final term. |
