Academic pathways: Associate of Technical Arts degrees are designed to provide professional and technical training to prepare students for specific jobs or to improve existing skills. This ATA may possibly transfer to Bachelor’s degree of Applied Science, Environmental Sciences, Sustainable Practices, Water Resource Management. Talk with your advisor to learn more.
Career pathways: Nursery grower, Nursery operator, Project manager, plant purchasing, logistics, community educator, Nursery manager

Getting Started - Placement Notes
Milestone 1: NSA (New Student Advising)
*Meet with your advisor to select a program of study, obtain math and English placement, plan pre-college coursework, discuss transfer credits, and obtain a starting plan. - Placement for Math is not required to begin this program. MATH 47 placement is recommended before starting certain classes.
- Placement into ENGLP 93 or AENGL 93 is required before beginning this program. ENGL& 101 placement is required before starting certain classes.
Term 1 - Fall (12 credits)
Term 2 - Winter (13 credits)
Milestone 2: Term 2 Check-In
*Meet with your advisor to make sure you are making steady progress and have successfully taken or planned to take entry level classes for your program. Create a full academic plan with your advisor for your remaining requirements. Term 3 - Spring (16 credits)
Term S - Summer (12 credits)
*This course can be taken in a summer quarter any time during the degree program or added to any quarter during the academic year (as available). Term 4 - Fall (12 credits)
Milestone 3: Degree Progress Check-in
*Meet with your advisor for a progress check and to finalize remaining courses for your program. Begin discussing and planning for your post-graduation goals. Term 5 - Winter (12 credits)
Milestone 4: Graduation Application
*Submit a graduation application prior to your final term. Term 6 - Spring (13 credits)
