Step 1 Apply Early for Financial Aid.

Step 2 Apply for Admission.
This is the first step in registering for classes. You can apply online, pick up a form at Enrollment Services, or ask to have one mailed to you.

Step 3 Determine Your Math and English Placement.
You may be required to take the ACCUPLACER® assessment to determine proper placement in math and English classes.

Step 4 Meet With an Adviser.
Find what program is right for you. Advisers will help you develop your educational plan and select the classes you need. Advising is usually available immediately after you take the ACCUPLACER assessment. The college also offers Steps to Success , Express Career Planning , and Test Taking Success classes.

Step 5 Register for Classes.

Step 6 Pay Tuition and Fees.
Whether your long-term goal is to earn a bachelor’s degree from a university or to learn a new skill and go to work, you can save money at a community or technical college. There are several options available to pay your tuition, including a tuition payment plan.

Step 8 Get Your EdPass.
Get your EdPass (college I.D.) or ORCA enhanced EdPass card (college I.D. plus bus pass) at the EdPass Office on the second floor of Lynnwood Hall. Your EdPass will allow you to check out books from the library and is loaded with 25 pages worth of on-campus printing per quarter.
