ENGR& 104 - Introduction to Design
5.0 Credits Course explores the role of creativity, teamwork, and communication in promoting innovative engineering design. Students develop their knowledge and skills in all three areas through a series of hands-on projects and reflective activities (was ENGR 108). Prerequisite: ENGL& 101 (was ENGL 105) and MATH 090 both with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:
- Define the engineering problem-solving process. [COMMUNICATE]
- Describe the importance of and the role of innovation and creativity in solving problems. [REASON]
