EAP 101 - College Reading and Writing
5.0 Credits For non-native speakers of English in college courses who need stronger skills to succeed. On-line EAP 101 includes reading, vocabulary, summary-writing, grammar and group discussion. EAP 101 is an option for students who have a permit in EAP 100.. Prerequisite: Permit or EAP 098 .
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate comprehension of college-level reading material by employing reading strategies and summarizing. [REASON]
- Synthesize and paraphrase college-level reading material into summary and short answers. [COMMUNICATE]
