HSC 053 - Financial Algebra

Maximum of 5.0 possible Credits
Students apply OSPI Algebra II standards to learn personally relevant applications in a range of financial situations. This course can fulfill the third year high school math graduation requirement for students choosing a non-Algebra 2 option. Prerequisite: For high school graduation only; advising required.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1. Apply fundamental quadratic functions and equations to understand investing and compound interest. [REASON] 2.
