IN 9.0 - Copyright Policy : SUMMARY/SCOPE Edmonds College recognizes that United States copyright law exists for the public good and balances the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers, and copyright owners with the educational community’s need for the free exchange of ideas. This policy is formulated in accordance with the provisions of federal copyright law U.S. Code Title 17, including the TEACH Act and Section 107 on fair use.
DESCRIPTION The college will designate a Copyright Officer, establish copying prohibitions, enforce copyright law, and establish rules of use and responsibility.
