MGMT 101 - Introduction to E-Commerce

Almost every business has an e-commerce component. This course addresses consumer behavior, user experience, building an online presence and marketing. Students will prepare to work in or start an e-commerce business in retail and service industries.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

  1. Describe how people use e-commerce.
  2. Demonstrate understanding of issues in retail e-commerce.
  3. Demonstrate understanding of issues in service e-commerce.
  4. Describe methods for internet marketing.
  5. Identify options for building an online presence.
