PE 100 - Introduction to Fitness Training Lab
2.0 Credits Fitness lab course focusing on weight training and cardiovascular conditioning. Developing strategies for independent fitness goals. S/U grade option. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Record daily accomplishments of performance strategies in all programs and individual improvements.
- Demonstrate fitness strategies to enhance and provide skill competencies in weight training and cardiovascular improvement.
- Demonstrate the ability to design and implement a fitness program.
- Evaluate personal body weight, body fat percentage, basal metabolic rate, and caloric need.
