VISCO 125 - Multimedia Design I
4.0 Credits Introduction to design principles and Adobe AfterEffects to combine text, audio, images, and video within a single visual presentation for television and web. Prerequisite VISCO 210 with a minimum 2.0 grade or instructor permission. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:- Effectively apply techniques and skills of good craftsmanship to completed multimedia design projects and course assignments.
- Effectively generate, consider, and evaluate problems in multimedia design.
- Produce quality work through the application of a variety of multimedia design techniques and media.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic compositional guidelines for multimedia design and apply them effectively to completed course projects and assignments.
- Give and receive constructive critiques of multimedia design projects created by you and others using language appropriate to the domain and course themes.
- Demonstrate research skills in the history of multimedia design for presentation and using proper documentation of research.
