Introduction to basic measurement techniques, tools, and equipment used in aerospace manufacturing environment. Overview of inspection of various materials including hard metal, aluminum, and composites.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Describe, select, and use a variety of measurement tools, such as calipers and microscopes.
- Establish calibration intervals using usage history and gage studies.
- Demonstrate various inspection and testing concepts and processes, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Demonstrate and apply sampling systems for metal and composites materials.
