Rehearsal and performance of instrumental music of a variety of eras and styles; study of instrumental technique and musicianship skills. Quarterly concerts are required.

Demonstrate good tone production through proper air support and technique.
Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between printed music and the expressive intent of the music through performance.
Sight-read instrumental music.
