BSTEC 100 - Computer Keyboarding

Introduction to computer keyboarding with touch-typing speed and accuracy development. Use of aPCand internet access is required for this course. S/U grade option. Recommended computer experience and placement in AENGL 90 or ENGLP 90.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs)
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate the ability to type letters, numbers, and symbol keys by touch.
Demonstrate improved touch-typing speed and accuracy.
Demonstrate a basic touch-typing proficiency speed of 20 words per minute (wpm) with five or fewer errors.
