BSTEC 108 - Business Presentations

Introduction to oral presentation techniques used in all sectors of the business community to convey a variety of information to professional audiences. Includes guidelines for the use of PowerPoint slides as a presentation tool.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Analyze the targeted audience and select an appropriate delivery approach to match the audience.
Demonstrate the ability to select appropriate resources related to specific report topics and apply the information to the various oral presentation projects.
Identify and incorporate statistical data, graphs, maps, and charts to support oral presentations.
Demonstrate the ability to select and use appropriate technology tools to create visual aids as support for a variety of oral presentations.
Deliver individual and group oral presentations that are appropriate to the targeted audience.
Demonstrate group interaction skills in a collaborative assignment.
