MGMT 260 - Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management
5.0 Credits For students who want to start a business, grow an existing business, or learn to think creatively like an entrepreneur.Creating a business plan is an integral part of this class. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify and describe meaningful goals and objectives for a small business.
- Explain the advantages and disadvantages of the various forms of business ownership and of purchasing an existing business.
- Describe issues related to marketing small businesses.
- Create an introductory business plan, including a marketing plan and financial plan.
- Explain issues related to business ethics, legal requirements, social responsibilities, and government regulations.
