AMMET 455 - Capstone II
5.0 Credits This course is the second of a two-part capstone practicum series. Students will work in teams to implement their acquired knowledge through the creation of defined projects in order to demonstrate mastery materials and manufacturing skills. Prerequisite AMMET 454. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Work together effectively in teams.
- Clearly define a problem and utilize appropriate research methods to identify viable solutions.
- Develop a solution to a manufacturing and/or materials problem using the skills developed in the program.
- Utilize project management techniques to design and build a project.
- Develop a written and oral presentation that evaluates the effectiveness of the project.
