AENGL 93 - Composition for College
5.00 Credits For students who are learning English as an additional language and areplanning to take college English courses or classes requiring extensive writing: the focus is on essay development, accurate grammar in context, critical thinking analysis, and collaborative learning. Placement by permit or test results. Prerequisite Prerequisite: Placement by permit or test results. Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Utilize targeted steps to develop a writing process and produce basic essays.
- Demonstrate American rhetorical strategies when writing college-level essays.
