Program Description Adults age 18 and older without a high school diploma can take classes and/or demonstrate competency to complete Washington state high school diploma requirements and earn an Edmonds College high school diploma. Tuition is $25 per quarter for core high school classes under the College and Career Preparation Program (PREP). Qualified students may also take college level classes at reduced tuition that meet high school diploma requirements.
Entry Requirements Students who are at least 18 years of age and do not have a high school diploma are eligible for the HS21+ program. Incoming students will take the CASAS reading and math assessments, and perhaps, other assessments (such as the college ACCUPLACER® test) if taking college level courses. Students will need to bring their high school transcript(s), college transcripts (if applicable), records of previous training, and employment or volunteer documentation for advisor evaluation.
When to Apply Students may begin fall, winter, spring, or summer quarter. Students are required to attend High School Completion and GED Enrollment Session and meet with an advisor well in advance of the quarter they wish to begin.
