Program Description The Reentry Certificate offers students certification upon completion of some of the core courses in the Human Services program. The focus of this certificate is to provide skills needed to provide support, education, and mentoring to clients who are currently or previously justice-involved (people who have or have had interactions with courts, prisons or jails. This can include involvement such as drug courts, child protection cases, probation or being a family member of a person interacting with these systems.). The certificate is primarily designed for those who already have an associate's degree or higher, with coursework which includes human services delivery. The certificate can be part of a larger degree in human services. The certificate is for those who seek to increase competency in working as reentry navigators. This certificate requires successful completion of a minimum of 19 credits as outlined.
