BSTEC 206 - Introduction to Medical Records



5.0 Credits
Uses, content, interpretation, evaluation, and basic processing procedures for health records; emphasis on data versus information, structure and application of health information, data storage, media, and other aspects of the health information management system. Prerequisite: BSTEC 104 ; BSTEC 130  or CIS 100 ; placement into EAP 100  or BRDGE 093 ; or concurrent enrollment BSTEC 155 .
