BSTEC 294 - Career Management

Assess employment skills, develop a resume and letters of application, videotape employment interviews, and job search strategies. Includes development of a portfolio. Should be taken prior to BUS 290 and within last two quarters of the program. Prerequisite
Placement into EAP 100 or BRDGE 093. Corequisite

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Practice and evaluate interview techniques.
- Compose and format career search documents, to include resumes, cover letters, thank you letters, and follow-up letters.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for employment success, given knowledge of workforce trends.
