Selection, use and sizing of materials and plants as well as the maintenance and safe use of tools and equipment for landscaping and nursery use. Estimating quantities of materials for typical horticultural applications. Prerequisite
Placement into MATH 087 or higher. Corequisite

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Locate, evaluate and apply information in order to select materials for a variety of landscape and nursery applications.
- Analyze landscape plans and specifications to determine materials and quantities required for landscape installation and maintenance.
- Exchange or present information on common materials used in the landscape and nursery industry.
