Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Identify the major genera of ferns and fern allies and their cultural needs.
- Identify the common pests, diseases and environmental maladies of ferns and suggest remedies.
- Describe propagation techniques of ferns in both sexual and asexual methods.
- Determine and discuss landscape uses and placement of these plants.
