HORT 275 - Landscape Construction Techniques-Wood



3.5 Credits
Introduces basic wood construction techniques and the use of basic hand and power tools. Students will become familiar with choosing appropriate wood products and fasteners as well as practice skills through the construction of some simple carpentry projects. Prerequisite
Placement into MATH 087 or higher, HORT 174. Corequisite

  1. Describe and demonstrate wood construction techniques.
  2. Describe and demonstrate safe hand and power tool operation.
  3. Define appropriate fasteners for wood construction applications.
