ENGR& 215 - Dynamics

Principles of dynamics, including Newton’s Laws. Analysis of the equations of motion of particles and rigid bodies, kinematics, dynamics, impulse, momentum, work and energy. Prerequisite: ENGR& 214 and MATH& 152 each with a grade of 2.0 or higher.

Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply Newton’s Laws of Motion to particles, systems of particles and rigid bodies. [REASON]
- Develop the kinematics of displacement, velocity, and acceleration for systems of particles and rigid bodies.[REASON]
- Apply the principle of work and energy and the principle of impulse and momentum to mechanical systems. [REASON]
