PE 219 - Aerobic Dance/Exercise: Advanced
1.5 Credits Progressive development of aerobic dance offers a combination of stretching, aerobic conditioning and strengthening exercises while moving to music. It is a safe class which incorporates both low impact and high impact aerobic movements in a rhythmical, energetic dance. Prerequisite: PE 119.
Course-level Learning Objectives (CLOs) Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze and demonstrate advanced level movements involved in dance. [REASON]
- Analyze and demonstrate proper form and body position during advanced level strength and conditioning activities. [REASON]
- Identify and describe muscle groups that are involved in advanced dance movements and exercise activities. [COMMUNICATE]
