MATH 079 - Basic Algebra

Covers approximately the first half of MATH 080. Topics include simplifying expressions, solving equations, solving word problems, and graphing lines. Permit code required for registration. Prerequisite: MATH 060 or equivalent with a grade of 2.0 or higher, or appropriate score on the Math Placement Test.
