IN 12.03pr - Course Materials Affordability : Submittal and Sale of Reproduced Course Materials


SUMMARY/SCOPE
This procedure details the process of submitting course packs for reproduction and sale in the college bookstore.

PROCEDURE DETAILS
To ensure that this process is cost-effective to students, the bookstore, and the Print and Mail Center, Edmonds College has adopted the following procedures:

  • All printing requests for coursepack materials must be delivered to the Print and Mail Center and notice of change provided to the textbook manager.
  • All coursepack content must be submitted as a hard copy or pdf file.
  • All coursepack materials submitted should include a title and course number, and a revision date.
  • All coursepack materials submitted are processed by an academic copyright partner to determine copyright compliance and any associated fees.
  • Any coursepack materials reproduced and sold through the bookstore must be required materials for all students in the class.
  • To ensure printed materials are available for the beginning of class, a four-week turnaround time must be allowed from the date of submission.
